finally, at last, in the end

这三者都可表示“较后”。其区别在于:

1.in the end的意思是经过许多变化、困难和捉摸不定的情况之后,某事才发生。例如:

We made eight different plans for our holiday, but in the end we went to Harbin again .我们定了八种不同的度假方案,但是较后我们又一次去了哈尔滨。

2.at last指一个动作从发生一直延续到结束,意思是“终于”。例如:
