1、Account for

词义: 解释...的原因

例句: Now, the gene they discovered today doesn't account for all those cases.

2、Adhere to

词义: 遵守

例句: She adhered to her principles/ideals throughout her life.

她终生坚持自己的原则 

 

3、Bring about

词义: 引起，导致

例句: He brought abouthis company's collapse by his reckless spending.
