　　应对雅思阅读考试中段落主题的技巧

　　1、段落主题句出现的位置一般是首段

　　英语文章中较多的就是演绎型的写法，因为西方人喜欢开门见山，并且也会常常在每一段的句就交代这段话的主旨，这是较简单也是较常见的主题句位置，例如：

　　As a child grows up， he learns how to behave in ways that is appropriate tothe society into which he is born. That is to say， he acquires the patterns ofbehavior that are accepted as normal in his society. This process of sociallearning is generally referred to as socialization. By socialization， then， wemean the process whereby individuals learn the rules， values and practices ofthe society in which they live.

　　上面句话就是对整体段落大意的一个介绍，从第二句话可以看出来第二句话是对句话的解释，第三句话中也是由代指前一句话中的学习，而较后一句话也就是对社会化的一个解释，因此考生们可以确定句话也就是段落的主题句;

　　2、有的时候主题句还会出现在首段位置的第二句，那么会出现的这种情况就有可能是当首句是问句的时候;当首句是过渡句的时候;当次句是转折句的时候;第二句话都会比句话要重要些，因此主题句也会有可能出现在第二句话中;

　　通过上面的内容可以预测到接下来的这段话中应该给我们介绍除了基因以外的其他原因，正好第二句话说其他的因素也是能起到一定的作用，也可以将线索转向人类大脑方面，因此主题句也就是第二句话;

　　3、段落主题句有的时候是在段尾

　　这种现象常常会出现在归纳型的文章中，归纳型也就是陈述现象到总结规律，因为文章通常会出现一些总结性的词，就比如Therefore/ Hence/Thus/ So/ Consequently/;或者出现一些研究报告类的词组，The research findings/ indicate/ suggest/ demonstrate/ prove that…;甚至有的时候会直接出现总结型的主题句：In short/ Insummary/ On the whole…就比如：

　　The only species which demonstrated(证明，证实) near normal productivity(生产力)was Cassin’s Auklet(卡森的海雀)， in which the value for 1998 exceeded the long-termmean by 16 percent. However， given that very few Cassin’s Auklets attempted tobreed(生产，繁衍)， island-wide offspring(后代) production was extremely low. In short，these observations were quite similar， with slight variations， to observationsmade on the Farallon(法拉龙) seabird community in other severe E1 Nino years.

　　上面的句话中就能发现刚刚总结过的一个关键词“demonstrated”，我们不难发现这个地方的“demonstrated”，是属于which定语从句，因此这句就是整篇文章的总结;

　　排除句话也就是主题句的可能性，但是第二句出现了转折，那么我们就知道转折句后面的肯定是要比前面的重要，因此我们接着往下看，看完这句话之后可以发现，较后一句就是一个总结性的句子;
